Meet Sarah
I know what it’s like to have a busy mind that never stops.
For over a decade, I worked in the corporate world — driven, and always striving for more. On the outside, I looked like I had it all together. On the inside, I was exhausted, anxious, and quietly unravelling.
I chased success believing that if I achieved enough, earned enough, or proved myself enough, I’d finally feel calm, content, and worthy. But the harder I pushed, the louder my mind became — until my body and nervous system couldn’t keep up anymore.
My breaking point came in the midst of burnout and depression. I realised that no amount of doing could bring me the peace I was looking for. So I stopped running — and turned inward.
That’s when I discovered Buddhist psychology and the life-changing power of mindfulness. I learned how to meet my mind with compassion, train my nervous system toward balance, and build the kind of emotional intelligence that doesn’t come from books or boardrooms — it comes from presence.
Slowly, I began to rebuild my life from the inside out. Anxiety turned into awareness. Fear became courage. Busyness gave way to stillness and self-worth.
Now, as a Mindfulness & Emotional Intelligence Coach and Registered Counsellor for the past decade, I help other smart, capable women who feel like I once did — constantly switched on, holding it all together, but yearning for peace on the inside.
